Dr. Damian Scelfo

Dr. Damian Scelfo has 10 years of clinical experience in treating advanced chronic pain conditions of the spine and extremities. He is known as a leading expert in the treatment of back and neck pain. Not only has Dr. Scelfo treated celebrities and professional atheletes but he also treats everyday people just like you and me. Dr. Scelfo received his degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2000. He was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in early 2002 with his wife Patricia to start his own clinic. Dr. Scelfo and his wife have 2 beautiful children Dominick and Madison. They chose to move to Winston-Salem because of the nice weather, nice people and what a great place it is to raise a family.  Dr. Scelfo opened up Carolina Spinal Care and Laser Therapy Center in early 2003. Since opening his practice Dr. Scelfo has become somewhat of a local celebrity by being featured on wxii12 news with Kimberly VanScoy, The Winston-Salem Journal and MD News Medical Journal for his specialized non-surgical treatments of Back and Neck pain. Dr. Scelfo has also received numerous awards in his clinic including being voted one of Americas top chiropractors in 2006 and 2009. Dr. Scelfo has also been the team doctor for the professional minor league hockey team the Twin City Cyclones

How do I get started?

Contact our office at 336-775-7600 to schedule an initial consultation with the Doctor to determine your individual situation. Medical Evaluation and Diagnostic testing procedures should be performed prior to beginning any treatment in order to determine the most effective process. After carefully studying your case history and exam findings, the Doctor will sit down and explain his recommended plan of action for you. After answering any questions you may have about the recommended plan, you may begin your care.
